How to read this figure

The sum of the lowest published price for each line that could be priced, if the parts were sourced individually. It is not a quotation, not the cost of an installed system, and not comparable with the complete-system prices above.

Excludes inverter, mounting structure, dc distribution box, ac distribution box, earthing and lightning protection and installation and commissioning, which have no published price.

What has to match

These parts have to suit each other. We check them against the exact products you pick, so they are tested when you customise this system — not here, where nothing has been chosen yet.

  • Array capacity to inverter rating

Total panel capacity should sit within a set range of the inverter's rated power.

  • String voltage and MPPT range

Panel string voltage must fall inside the inverter's MPPT operating window, and the array's open-circuit voltage must stay under its maximum DC input at the coldest expected temperature.

Not checked automatically. String design depends on the inverter's MPPT window, its maximum DC input voltage and current, and how many panels are wired in series — none of which this catalogue records. An installer must confirm it.

  • Battery bank and inverter voltage

The battery bank's voltage must match the voltage the inverter expects.

Not checked automatically. A bank's voltage depends on how the batteries are wired in series and parallel, which this catalogue does not record. One 12 V battery against a 24 V inverter is not a mismatch if two are wired in series.

  • Mounting structure sized for the array

The mounting structure must be rated to hold at least as many modules as the array contains.

A standard configuration is a starting point, not an engineering recommendation or a supplier quotation. The final system depends on a site assessment.
